The Mark of Cain
After God cursed Cain, and then the ground a second time, He placed a mark on him and said that a seven-fold vengeance will be on whoever kills him. Most people do not know what the ‘mark’ was. With fervent study, research, and listening to the Holy Spirit and some SDA pastors, it is evident that God wants this generation to now realize what the mark was, and its impact on the world.
As God placed His mark or seal on His creation and on those who obey Him, so He allowed Cain to have a mark/insignia as his sign of authority over those who will follow in his disobedient ways (which include anger, hatred etc – the ways/character of Satan). Also consider, if God’s mark is the seventh day Sabbath, then Cain’s/the Dragon’s mark would be another day. God gave Cain the power/authority to punish, (seven times more), those who do not want to follow his (Cain’s)(governments) commands/laws. God is merciful and just but what will His opponent do under adverse circumstances? He must now give him the opportunity to reveal his way of doing things.
Symbols the rulers of today employ point back to Cain himself. The most ancient one is the star. The way ancient rulers punished their disobedient subjects shows their hash judgment principles, as can be seen even in the Roman empire . God’s people were always exalted once they were obedient to his precepts. For His disobedient ones, He sent many warnings and if they still refuse to change and continue to keep in the way of the world, then He would allow the world to punish them.
God’s people chose to put Him away and imitate the way of the world by having a king. When they were in apostasy, the Hebrew king had to bow before the earthly king that was in power (as Babylon). If they were still ruling in their own country but nevertheless were subservient to the then world power, they had to show this arrangement by wearing a little hat when they were visiting and bowing to that king. This little hat can be seen in at least one of the emblems of the USA; it shows their allegiance to the papacy, as do many of the other earthly governments.

God’s Mark/Seal
EX 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
EX 20:9 Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
EX 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
EX 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
The fourth commandment demonstrates the seal of God. A seal contains a name – The Lord; a title – Creator; and a territory – the heavens and earth. The seventh day Sabbath contains all of these elements including the secondary title of the ruler, ‘Abba” – Father – hidden in the name Sabbath. Our Heavenly Father owns all humanity because he made them and redeemed them (buy them back) through the death of His Son, since the wages of sin is death; because of their sin, they were sentenced to die. Just before Jesus comes to take His believers to heaven, all living people will be tested with their loyalty to Him. They will have to decide and show if they are willing to worship God on His true 7th day Sabbath or not. This would be done by the legislative enforcement of a substitute Sabbath called Sunday. Looking at the commonly used calendar of today anyone would instantly conclude that Saturday is the true 7th day Sabbath established by the creator. This is one of the cunning counterfeits of the great deceiver, the Devil, that we were warned about – ‘He will think to change times and laws’. The present calendar is not the calendar that the creator Himself established. This calendar present is called the Gregorian calendar; it was established by Pope Gregory and has as its base the sun. The Creator’s calendar that He commanded to be in place forever on the forth day of creation, utilises all of the creative power of light and time – the sun, moon and stars. The sun to rule the day, the moon to rule the night and worship time, the stars for signs – all of them as a witness. To help us know for sure what the original calendar looks like, the Creator Himself came to this earth as our example and worshipped and rested on the true 7th day Sabbath. Looking at what He did during the crucifixion week should help clarify many false principles that we were taught. When Jesus died, it was the 6th day of the week, the preparation day (a day to prepare for the Sabbath). But it was the 14th day of the 1st month – Passover – a day that never changed after hundreds of years since it was given to Moses in Exodus. The next day was the Sabbath, a high day and the feast of unleavened bread, the day Jesus rested in the tomb, the 15th day of the same month. If this was done for hundreds of years before the death of Christ, is it changeable? God says ‘I change not.” Therefore, the 7th day Sabbath is the 15th of each month but not according to the present false calendar. It is easy to know when all of the 7th day Sabbaths occur by just adding and subtracting from that date – Thus, the 7th day sabbaths are not only according to day and week but also according to date – 8th 15th, 22nd, and 29th of each month. Another Seal
There are two dominant powers controlling the world. The power of God, good, and the power of the Devil, evil. If we want to believe it or not every human being is on one of these sides, and in the end will be rewarded accordingly by the maker of the world himself. The Devil counterfeits many things that God does. Since God has a day for His subjects to show allegiance to Him, the Devil also invented a day in which his subjects would worship Him. He did this through subterfuge. Through his main controlling agent on the earth, a church, he suggested to them that since Christ raised from the dead on Sunday, it is fitting that the Sabbath should be changed to Sunday. With this supposedly brilliant idea, the Catholic church then educated as many people as possible to believe this erroneous concept. However, God already gave his chosen people a ‘heads up’ that this would happen by saying in Daniel, ‘he will think to change times and laws’. In the end, at the ‘time of trouble such as never was’, when it is legislated that everyone must worship on Sunday, regardless of the reason, and people willingly obey this command instead of following the command that says the 7th day is the Sabbath, they will be taking the seal of the Devil (not the seal of God), and thus will be lost and will receive their reward of death.

Melchizedek
GEN 14:18 And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. GEN 14:20 And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.
To help us identify who Melchizedek was, other than the king of Salem, we must note that he was a priest. After sin, God promised to send a deliver, His son, to redeem man. With every firstborn that was born to God’s people was the hope that he would be the deliverer. The firstborns were given a birthright of being the priest of the family, the progenitor, and they were given a double portion of the inheritance. Noah had three sons, Shem is mentioned first. Being the firstborn, he was the priest and even the oldest priest in the days of Abram. There were about ten generations from Noah to Abram which is a span of about 300 years. Shem lived for over 900 years and he was 100 years when the flood began. Shem, therefore, received the title of Melchizedek king of Salem and was the (oldest/honoured) priest in that period of time. It was his presence that was acknowledged by Abram.
Melchizedek is a type of Christ – Christ is our Great High Priest. Melchizedek was the king of Salem – Christ is the King of Kings. Melchizedek was the prince of peace – Christ is the everlasting Prince of Peace. In the New Testament, there are some stunning remarks about Melchizedek.
HEB 7:1 For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
HEB 7:2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
HEB 7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
HEB 7:4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
As we said before, Melchizedek/Shem was a type of Christ. Paul is referring to our actual Great High Priest that is now interceding for us in the Most Holy Place.
Secret Place

October 22, 1844
The year 1844 is quite significant since it is the year that ends the prophecy of 2300 days. According to Leviticus 23, each year, the Day of Atonement when the High Priest entered the Most Holy Place to cleanse the sanctuary from the inequities of the people, occurred on the 10th day of the 7th month. DAN 8:14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. If the sanctuary was to be cleansed on the 10th day of the 7th month in 1844, then that should have been July but most people know it as being October 22nd. There are those who explain the discrepancy by saying it is because the Jewish calendar was used to calculate the precise date. Jewish Rabbi have rejected that date for that feast during that year. However, after the great disappointment of that year, God gave one of his chosen vessels a vision confirming the reality of that date showing him that what actually happened was that Jesus entered the Most Holy Place in the heavenly sanctuary.
How did the believers then arrive at that date? First of all we must acknowledge that God is the creator of everything including time (His calendar); and He never changes. When His people were enslaved, they were not allowed to keep any feast or holy days. When He delivered them, He reminded them when the year began and about the feasts that they should be keeping. Their sign for the beginning of the year was the first grain that appeared in spring. They had to bring this grain to the temple and wave it before the Lord on the 16th day of that month. That grain was barley. Sometimes the barley would be ripe in late March or April. If it was ripe later in April or even early May, (depending on the rotation of the moon), then the feast of the First Fruit on the 16th would be a month later. In 1844, the barley was ripe later. Instead of the feast being in September according to the Rabbi, it was in October. To find the exact day, the new moon, which begins a new month had to be also taken into consideration. The horned crescent new moon was on the 12th of October, therefore, the 10th day of that month according to God’s calendar, the creation Biblical calendar, was on the 22nd of that month.

The Mystery of Iniquity

He declared that the day of Christ should not come, “except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” And furthermore, the apostle warns his brethren that “the mystery of iniquity doth already work.” [2 Thessalonians 2:3, 4, 7.] Even at that early date he saw, creeping into the church, errors that would prepare the way for the development of the papacy” (4SP, p. 51, 1870-1884).Ellen White (1827-1915): “Little by little, at first in stealth and silence, and then more openly as it increased in strength and gained control of the minds of men, the mystery of iniquity carried forward its deceptive and blasphemous work. Almost imperceptibly the customs of heathenism found their way into the Christian church. The spirit of compromise and conformity was restrained for a time by the fierce persecutions which the church endured under paganism. But as persecution ceased, and Christianity entered the courts and palaces of kings, she laid aside the humble simplicity of Christ and his apostles for the pomp and pride of pagan priests and rulers; and in place of the requirements of God, she substituted human theories and traditions. The nominal conversion of Constantine, in the early part of the fourth century, caused great rejoicing; and the world, arrayed in robes of righteousness, walked into the church. For hundreds of years the circulation of the Bible was prohibited. The people were forbidden to read it, or to have it in their houses, and unprincipled priests and prelates interpreted its teachings to sustain their pretensions.
